So busy!

Wow, can’t believe its almost been two weeks since I last posted on here! I have been super busy lately between work and sewing for Etsy – oh, and going back to CrossFit! I haven’t done much else than sewing the wrist wraps and coming up with new colors/ideas for those. I’ve done a little cross stitch that isn’t done yet (rest assured I’ll post it on here as soon as I’m done!) and a little crochet when I get tired of sewing. I realized just how out of shape I became in my two months out of CrossFit with these last few workouts – each one has left me sore but excited to get back in to it. And people are buying wraps at the gym and have given me some ideas for new ones! These are a couple of my attempts at customizing solid ones:

New Wrist Wrap color!

Finally got around to making more of the wrist wraps I made awhile back and was the first thing I sold on Etsy! Batman this time and they came out good! Getting a little faster making them too so that’s good. There will be one pair on Etsy for now till I figure out how many I need locally…I might be able to have them at our local box Crossfit Duval!

Crochet Mesh Market Bags

Market Bag2

Finished up a couple of these super cute market bags yesterday! I love taking these to the farmers market, they hold a TON of stuff. And they are amazingly easy and quick to work up. You can get the free pattern here. It is a little weird because you still have to ‘buy’ them…add them to your cart and checkout. But, it doesn’t ask for your card number or anything, just your name and email. The link to download it will be sent to your email shortly. I would suggest downloading and saving it somewhere safe because the link only works for about 5 days I believe. Totally worth it though! It is pretty much all just chains and SC. Another thing – I just opened up an Etsy shop! You can always find the link to it on the side of the page there ——->

I’ve got a couple of these market bags on there and the wrist wraps but if there is ever something I’ve made that anyone would like me to make for them, just let me know! Email me and I can give you a price and add it to the Etsy shop just for you to buy 😀

Color in Motion 5K

Color in Motion

So two weekends ago on Dec. 29th, Anthony and I ran our 2nd 5K with my Aunt Ellie and her friend Amy! It was an absolute blast! We ran the Color in Motion 5K down in Nocatee. Despite the nasty outlook for the weather, we ventured down there for the race and it ended up well. There were some technical difficulties resulting in us standing packed together at the starting line for probably a little over half an hour – during which it decided to actually start raining for the first time since we got there. The weather cleared for the race however and it went off without a hitch for us. It wasn’t a timed race but Anthony and I ran it in about 45 min. Not so great – but better than last time since we found out it was actually a little longer than a 5K. We can’t wait for our next race now and we’re thinking about doing this the 5K Foam Fest in March. Here are some other pictures from the day…
