Christmas PJ’s for the boys!
So this year, I got a wild hair and decided to make the boys’ Christmas PJ’s instead of buying some. I guess I was just feeling super crafty this season (still am!) and the idea of the classic button up shirt and pant PJ’s just sounded adorable to me! I originally was thinking along the lines of some plaid flannel pajamas but when I found this cute Cars fabric at JoAnne’s, I knew it would be perfect.
As I was waiting in line for half an hour to get my fabric cut (it was the day after Black Friday) I ended up picking up a pattern and fabric to make all of us matching red fleece socks. And ended up having enough fabric left over for a pillow for each of them too with the flannel on one side and fleece on the other.
Needless to say, the matching socks, PJ’s and pillow were a big hit with them and they were excited to wear them home from the party at my sisters’ house Christmas Eve! Simeon’s pants and sleeves ended up a little long but that’s a super easy fix – just going to do a basted hem so that I can undo it once he grows a little more so they’ll last longer :-D.
